We believe the Bible is God's word, and as such is relevant to all people of all cultures.
This truth is the basis for all our teaching. The Bible teaches that all have sinned, that
Christ died for all and salvation is received through repentance from our sin, and in faith
towards the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our teaching focus centres around the aspects of Christian unity, sound marriage, family, and
relational life — both within the church and in the community. This aspiration is based on the
prayer of Jesus (John 17:21-23) and the theme of "first love" - that quality which characterised
the Ephesian church (Revelation 2:4).
We consistently pray that the Spirit will draw us back to the New Testament essentials, lest we be
overcome by any “spiritual trend”. We hope that we can continue to hear "what the Spirit is saying"
so that Christ can fully restore His church— of which our fellowship is just a small part. Beyond this,
we pray that our Lord will lead us into a full appropriation of His grace in these perilous times.
Perth Christian Fellowship is connected with a stream of churches across Australia, with international
relationships reaching to Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Papua New Guinea. We share a common
vision throughout, and maintain a leadership structure that facilitates shared ministry– with each individual
encouraged to find their own grace in ministering to the congregation.
